The art direction is very cohesive and I liked the inclusion of lighting and shadows which made the entire world feel responsive and dynamic. Like others, I couldn't really figure out a lot of the controls - the resource numbers at the top left were intuitive to me, but the buttons at the bottom left didn't look interactable, and mining also never worked for me. But I think with a little bit of polish, and also adding some other mechanics so that gathering resources is a more varied experience, it is a really good game to build off of and turn into a bigger tower defense game if you ever want to.

The artstyle is great, and I am very impressed that you pumped this out in 3 days! As a player, I wasn't sure how to mine resources. I was following what the controls said, but I wasn't noticing any feedback that told me I was getting them. I can definitely see this being expanded upon into a fuller game!

I love the art style and seems very professional. I really struggled to figure out how to place buildings since I didn't realize the bottom of the screen was buttons, I though they were referencing keyboard numbers because I'm dumb lol. The miner didn't seem to do anything or I couldn't get it to work so some clear instructions would be great. I really like the idea of this game and the style so you should try and push this further. I also really like the lighting and keeping warm mechanics. Well done.

Really appreciate the feedback man! Yeah absolutely, there's actually a feature where if you right click the building buttons it gives you a description of what it does, but I'm dumb so I forgot to tell anyone about it. Thanks again for the comment.

I enjoyed this game, it’s type of gamplay that would set you in the flow zone. You had a very clear idea of how to implement

Cheers!

This is really impressive for something you accomplished in three days. I really like the art style, specifically the look of the sprites and the shadow effects. Some of the game was a bit unclear at first, like having to hold the mouse button to mine/chop instead of click. Some sort of visual/audio feedback that plays every time an action is performed may help. I initially struggled with what each resource did too. I eventually understood that the fire was the lamp's fuel level, but it took me a bit to realize you need coal and timber to build turrets, more coal to fuel the turrets, and more coal to fuel the lamp.  Putting what each building costs next to its button (i.e. 5 wood, 10 coal) could solve this. There's definitely a solid and engaging gameplay loop to discover with a bit more tinkering.

Hey, thanks so much for the kind words! Yeah agreed, the unclearness I think came from me going 'I'll figure out how to tutorialise the player later' and then running out of time lol. I really appreciate the feedback though, it's really helpful. Think I might try to polish the game up a bit for a 1.0 version.
