funny short game, turns could be faster though

Nice game.  Dialogue was funny!  I wish I could skip the talking after trying again.  It's a really hard game!

Thanks!  I was quite proud of the dialogue not gonna lie.  Yeah I should have added a skip button, just ended up getting forgotten in the haze of caffeine and sleep deprivation.

I think I'll make some adjustments to the difficulty to be honest, I tried to mimic a movement system similar to the PMD series without the diagonal movement, and I think it ended up being a little unclear with no attack animations from the enemies that they just instakill you if you have to move into a square next to them.  The "cheat" to get around this is just to try to move into a wall, which skips your turn and makes the enemies move to you.  The teleporters also move you one tile, which offsets the distance between you and the enemy and allows you to get the advantage that way.  The wall thing is janky and a bad mechanic, I think eventually I'd like to reformat it a bit and either add a bit more forgiveness (like letting the player get hit more than once) or add additional ways to manipulate the positions.  Either way, I'll have to wait till judging is over to actually update the game to include any of that.
