Please explain why your team qualifies for the category you chose.
About a year, but two of the three of us have never done a Game Jam before.

How does your game relate to the theme?
Rin, The main character has a magical charm that allows him to control slimes either by charming them (with sugar) to make them follow him, or making them angry (with salt) to do the opposite.
They can also get different powers after touching a slime depending on what food the slime is storing.

Such a nice little game! I love the protagonist, such a cutie. The artstyle in general is pretty neat as well. The levels played pretty well, but it was tough to figure out what to do at first and the controls felt rather unintuitive. It was fun once I got used to them though! Music was great too, a bit loud for my taste however. I think adding a slider for music volume might be a good idea.

Your game was fun to play, well done!

Congrats on your first game jam!!

I had a fun time, even though I found myself constantly dying or resetting levels lol. The controls definitely take some time getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, taking on the puzzles were a lot easier. I tend to repel or charm the box way too far away that I can't bring it back, but nevertheless, everything runs pretty smoothly! Huge kudos to the level designer as well, the level progression is perfect and each stage sets you up for the next one, just slightly harder. Amazing job everyone!
