Team is a duo. We have experience with 3D art (ArtMattgeddon) and Illustration(EsfiArt) and this is our first time working with Godot engine. This is also our first game jam!
How does your game relate to the theme?
The game is designed to be visually Charming. The player character is a fumbling witch who bought a love potion to charm her crush. However, the witch didn't read the label and assumed it didn't work, carelessly throwing it away into the local town's well, causing the towns folk to be madly in love with her. She uses her magic powers to stop them from being charmed! Use upgrades for your magic to stop the wave of charmed towns folk 🙂

Haven't seen anyone else mention it, but for me the movement speed upgrades were completely broken and didn't change anything. Got all the skills maxxed out by 10 minutes and kinda just sat there till the knights eventually overwhelmed me, not sure if there's a win condition past that.
The art was super cute though, and the game over screen made me laugh!

Really cool art ! The gameplay could be reworked a bit, but the vibe is still there !
Art is amazing but it is kinda boring. With good skills, you can kinda not move from one place. I think you need to think more about upgrade design because if it doesn't have any downgrade the challenge disappears in seconds after 1 minute mark I was just standing still. Oh, and the beginning movement speed makes you don't want to move even more because it is so slow.
