The game is elegantly simple, which I love. The prompts were engaging, and not too specific but also not too broad. They were great for moving forward plots and having the witch introspect. I'm having a blast playing through spring and am looking forward to the rest of the year!
I played this game as a reconnection activity with someone I had fallen out of touch with during lockdown and hadn't really talked to for a few years. It was a beautifully intense experience ending in the necromancer giving their dead friend an unexpected and deeply healing hug that I still think about years later!
An excellent game that does a great job of helping you build not just a story but a whole world. You can read more of my thoughts (and the story from my playthrough) here (also posted to Dreamwidth): http://portal.mozz.us/gemini/rainywhile.net/gemlog/2025-02-15-village-witch/
