This reminds me of a fragment of Blaise Pascal’s thoughts:
“Flies are so mighty that they win battles, paralyse our minds, eat up our bodies.”
The flies that win battles are a reference to Montaigne who tells how the inhabitants of Tamly, besieged by the Portuguese, used swarms of bees to push them out.

Nice submission! I enjoy that you took a more lighthearted tone, it's a nice break from some of the darker or more melancholy works.
Thanks :) That's what I was going for. And I didn't want to make too much from those 30 words, I wanted to tell a short and self-contained story with a funny twist instead of narrating part of a bigger and more complex story.
