HELP! - Is patching support for Keyboard and Mouse an acceptable bug fix?

Morning guys!  Not sure where to post about this - We've had a whole bunch of comments on our game so far that people were unable to play.  I've tried to make it clear in the description that a controller is required to play the build we finished for the Jam, but seems like people either don't own them, or aren't reading the description.   Is a patch for Keyboard & Mouse support considered a bug fix???  We're so stoked that people are interested in playing and are over the moon that people are taking the time to leave a comment with their concerns.  At the very least if you were interested in playing so far but weren't / aren't able to because you don't own a gamepad - fear not, we have a patch ready!  - Matt, Pole Patrol dev

I'm wondering the same but for a small bug where delta time needs removing as I didn't get chance to test it on other machines until today so didn't realize it was impacting movement speed till this morning.
