doubt about rule number 1. how "focus on ..." does it have to be?

Hi. I have the idea of making a game where there is a relationship between 2 women but it is not so obvious, it is something subtle, it is more about the emotional support throughout the story to overcome adversities, constant support but subtle, it is a love relationship, but not a graphic love. like they care about each other but do not state it so obviously... they don't say "I love you" or give each other kisses etc.

my question is how far can you move away that "main focus" without breaking the rule? my fear is that I will go too far away and not count for the Jam.

If they're both queer women, and it's clear they're queer women, it's not a huge deal if they don't get together.
