Excellent job with this game. I found it really challenging and a lot of fun. You did a great job ramping up the difficulty with each level. I agree with those who desire full WASD movement. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about the camera angle auto correcting to a default value. It made aiming the fuel canisters much easier but took away my control while in flight. The level was also quite dark, which is fine given the game's theme, but it made it hard to see. Some sort of contrast to make the platforms stand out would help. This game was really fun and I'm quite impressed with what you were able to accomplish. You took a great idea and iterated upon it in interesting ways with each level. Great job!

Thank you very much for playing and for the comment! The things you mentioned are things I've noticed myself and plan to be changing in some way in an update. I messed up with the shadows so they appear behind the player instead of under them, so the platforming was a bit more difficult because of that. Fuel throwing I think I'll try to revamp a bit in the update, might even add a bullet time while you throw but we'll see.

pretty amazing you made this in a week! great work!

Thanks a bunch :D I actually had super limited time for this so it felt like much less than a week haha

I love the concept of this game. My only problem was mouse sensitivity could've been higher. It was hard to reposition myself. Other than that, I enjoyed playing it.

Thanks for playing! Yeah a mouse sensitivity slider is something I would like to add in the update, just didn't have much time for it in the jam.

Couldn't pass "The Gauntlet" level no matter what. What's the secret to fly high enough over the spikes? The game definitely has an addictive quality to it. It kept me wanting to keep going. One thing I would suggest is to allow the player to walk in all directions. There was a lot of frustration when picking up gasoline cans that are like 1 cm behind you, but you can't just walk backwards, you have to turn the camera 180 degrees. The whole game is frustrating of course, that is the point. But this one isn't the fun kind of frustration. While the flying and failing is the fun kind :)

Thanks for playing! On the gauntlet level you're actually meant to go *around* the spikes instead of over them. You can get higher by getting closer to the fire before gliding though so you can try that too. Yeah time constraints made me go down the route of single direction ground movement but I'll probably be changing that in an update.

It's a bit hard to control the character, but once you get the hang of it it's fun and it's a cool idea well done :)

Thanks for playing :D

It takes a little time to fully understand the purpose of the game, but once understood the game is fun.
It may lack a bit of fluidity in the movement of the player, especially with the mouse.
Otherwise very nice design.

Thanks for playing :) I might be changing the ground movement to have full range with WASD post-game jam since others were complaining about it as well.
