Something felt really weird about the way landing on platforms keeps your momentum or something, like i just constantly was slipping off of things despite even pressing the opposite direction. Whole thing feels like an ice level, basically.

I never quite understood how the health mechanics worked or what the white bar does or means, guessing it fills on killing enemies and you need it full to ascend? It also seems like the robots gave confusing advice (ie there are some places you can’t reach as a cat
pretty sure there aren’t?) so I wasted time trying to figure out where to go next as the vending machine. The final form just felt really weak compared to it, in terms of killing enemies. Both of those forms it was really hard to judge where the hitbox actually was for platforming.

Could really use more feedback on when the player is taking damage, and some tighter controls would make this pretty fun I think.

Still, felt clever and I liked the double use of the theme, good work!

Can definitely see what you're talking about with controls.

I very much agree with your comment about the player talking damage, wish we had more time to add some feedback.

Appreciate the honest criticism and hope you still enjoyed your playthrough!

I might’ve sounded harsher than I meant, I had a good time exploring it - I enjoyed the absurdity of the vending machine twist lol, and the “ugh” sound effect. I also grew up on a Maple Street and had an orange and white kitty so the intro really spoke to me :P
