Your PC probably just cannot run the game. It's on you because you didn't read the warnings given throughout the entirety of the description on this page.

hello. i had the same problem, but finally got it to work and ill try to help you now. so first, you have to look for the game location (after you download the latest version or whatever version you wanna play", copy it and paste it on the main screen, then click with the right mouse and go to properties. you'll see "That's not my neighbor.exe" . type " --rendering-driver opengl3" and then it should work. hope this helped you! sorry if i didnt explain it clearly
