Thanks, it did take me a while to move to Godot and there was an initial learning curve but it wasn't as bad as I expected tbh. I managed to transfer most concepts from Unity with a bit of research and experimentation. I have an ongoing test project in Godot which is purely a playground where I try to implement as many examples of different features I might use in a game. (that project itself makes for a truly terrible game experience 😉)
I'm glad I took the time to learn Godot and I will carry on using it, but I think where Unity still beats Godot by some margin is in the amount of plugins, platform support, online resources, and fancy built-in components e.g. cloth physics to name just one. Godot has some catching up to do in those areas!
