No. He just said he closed the game. There won't be anymore updates. Just for patreons. Its a shame since i've been looking forward to a new version since what? More than 6 months ago, since it got one at over 2 months.
And he could just make characters from whatever game he is currently playing if he feels burnt out on gachas.
