It worked out great last night. The 'add detail' came in handy and they absconded with an intact automated hydroponics segment for their flotilla. I just need to figure out a good way to decide how many sections/d6 to use. Probably stick with the tried and true 3d6.
That's awesome! When I was playtesting, I used a small handful of dice, say 7-10, just to work out how they could fit together. But use whatever size derelict you need!
