I personally preferred the actual plot, I didn't really come for the NSFW, just that the plot interested me. For some reason NSFW games tend to have surprisingly well done plots a lot of the time.
It sounds like an attention span problem. TikTok probably gave you brain rot and now you can't enjoy long-format entertainment
