So far the game the game is a bit confusing for me.

Firstly, every time I was caught I just wasn't able to get out. I thought that I needed to do something like inputs, but after reading some of the comments here I realised that escaping is completely rng-based. I don't really like that. IMO it's better to have some uneasy mini-game rather than relying on RNGesus. Especially after in one of the comments you said that the chances are low (or not exactly that).

Secondly, i thought that the students were here just to fill some space, but it turns out that preds can actually eat them while they're chasing you. I also got to know that after reading comments.

Third things third, how do apples work? Do you need to have it in your inventory when you're caught or do you need to drop them before a pred? And what any of the apples do? What difference is there between a green one and a red one?

Also, some suggestions:

1. Please increase the base sensivity in this game. It is far too low. Even when maxed, it still takes almost a whole mouse space just to turn 90-120 degrees.

2. Imo you should make different footsteps sound for the MC. The current one may confuse new players.

3. I think a "peek" would be really good here. You can come at the door frame  and peek to the side. This way you can watch out for any pred without a risk to be seen.

4. I believe preds are just a little bit too fast. They can close the distance in almost no time. Yes, to stop the chase you need to cut the LoS, but they can also hear you. This means you can't just run to a potential hiding spot (behind a table for example), you need to walk (or even crouch) to it. And when you're walking, i believe preds are like 10 times faster than you are. So you might just be not close enough to hide. I get the idea that the player needs to avoid preds by any means, but chase should also be "winnable".

5. Maybe it's just me but when I hear pred being on the lower floor exactly underneath me it sounds like she's right next to me on the same floor. If that's not only my thing, I think you should fix that.

Btw, since I wasn't able to finish the game so far, I don't really know the goal of the game. I guess you need to escape the school, but where is any door/gate that will lead outside? I also wasn't playing the game for some time, so I might just forgot.

Also, I noticed that small students sometimes start running and stop after, like, a second. Is that intentional? If so, that's pretty neat actually.

Apples increase your chances of escaping the same goes for crumbled paper through apples are the real star of the show.

Personally for me I enjoy the RNG based system because you can sorta manipulate it by having a apple in your inventory or feeding a student to the Pred It adds a sense of strategy and also makes being eaten by the Pred more tense through I can understand you point but personally for me I prefer the RNG system.

There is a facts section when you pause the game which shows a different one each time you pause. I am updating it to show other facts by button instead of pausing the game each time

Sensitivity will be increase by 2x in the next update.

I do not think ill be able to change the footstep sound due to what is in store for updates to come.

You can peek quickly at preds but if they are looking your way I want it to always be risky.

I lowered this pred's speed to just about as much as I can. Any slower and you might be able to outrun them. I have seen a couple of feedback regarding the difficulty of getting away from preds if chased. I will consider making it easier. On top of that there are some changes coming to make things easier and a huge nerf to this pred.

The volume of sounds when the pred is on a different floor will be decreased.

Escape through the exit door after finding exit key is how you win the game.

do you mean the walking for the small students? If so then yes. Running is supposed to be a somewhat rare condition for them.
