For those who read reverend insanity may understand how deep this game actually is; It's not about the gameplay nor quality, it's about what the author wanted you to know/do, n' wt he wanted to teach u through this simple, yet deep indirect method.
Title : Swordless Knight
What happens to a knight when they loses their weapon ? what will you do if you lost the thing you rely on the most ?
- the game is hard : * cricket sound *
- the game has no checkpoints : so you take every step into calculation, carefully. it's a vibe for "failure is not an option".
- The "?" button : "but hey! the game didn't tell me what it does! and I even have no damn idea where to use it!" stop using those fragile excuses, my dear friend. you should be playing Genshin if you want a game that tells you which hand to eat with.
for those who played "Ace Attorney" will have this point clear to them; in the game you will have variety of evidences that you may need in your trial, but which evidence should you present and when to object with ? that's what the game revolves around, and it's fairly not easy.
In Swordless Knight, some may have tried using the "dead meat" against slimes and then excluded it from the options. the point is that you keeping thinking/trying until you figure it out by yourself and hit the nail on it's head!
- invisible slimes : "plans do not keep pace with changes" . You'll sometimes encounter what you didn't expect, and you need to think about a way to just deal with it instead of complaining because that's the reality.
and who said that the tip "be patient" was only for the hovering platform ? it actually goes with you all the way up to the final boss! (& irl too)
- Acting dead : "Knight's pride" my ass!
"The wise man would submit to circumstances" .
Sometimes you might need to lower your head if you want the situation to go all fine. getting through hardships that requires you to throw away your so-called self pride is only achievable by open-minded ones, and you may even gain handful of benefits from that. holding blindly to your poor principles COULD COST YOU SO MUCH.
Thanks for reading (I doubt) and enjoy the game! (at least I did ^_^)
