this is a cool mechanic! it reminds me of the mobile games where you were either a penguin or other bird hopping over slopes to escape something :) If you plan to progress the game, something like procedurally generated waves could be cool to increase the replayability.

I was actually working on procedural waves.  That way they can decay like real waves and give me more control over how many waves there are/their spacing. I wasn't able to finish implementing it in time sadly. I'll definitely look into updating the game with it though.
