FYI your portable app is getting flagged as malware from Virustotal just 1 vendor flagged it as. Win.MxResIcn.Heur.Gen. I know its not bad but i wanted to let you know. https://gridinsoft.com/blogs/win-mxresicn-heur-gen-false-positive/

Strange, I wouldn't be able to tell you what's triggering that. It seems that the false positives are only coming from companies using AI-powered detection. Other GameMaker developers have had this issue too, for some reason.

Do you sign your executable? I have seen instances where high UPX compression can trigger an AV response because it thinks the code is obfuscated.

No, I don't. They're exported straight from GameMaker and don't go through any changes before uploading to itch.
