Hello! I think I can help you!

I'm equipped with virtual instruments that are specifically tailored toward making chiptune/retro inspired music. I've been composing and releasing music for well over 5 years at this point, but am just recently trying to get more serious about game composition.

Here's a quick playlist of some tracks that may hint at what you're looking for. a mechanical bride in particular is my more synthwave example: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7z19uLRLdCYQCYLJVmAjqC?si=244dabd42f334189

In addition, I just finished working on music this past weekend for the Godot Wild & Proud jam if you want to check out a sample of my work in action: https://cornbread-dev.itch.io/here-to-help

I like your stuff!

thank you!! A lot of it is mine own but there’s plenty out there that’s collaborative and honestly I find a bunch of joy in that too!

you make some nice music!

Here's a tune you can make for now!

Title - The City

How it should feel - in the game, you're basically just fighting off cyborgs and cultists. There's alot of commotion, bullets firing and explosions.

I want the song to fit the mood and be really upbeat.

I appreciate the nod, and while I’d love to help make this track, I gotta ask - are you worried about continuity?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems as though you’re democratically dividing your soundtrack among composers. Very kind thought, but might ultimately hurt your game if the composers all use different sounds/styles/approaches

idk man, i'd just feel bad by turning someone's offer to help make the game down

also ive noticed that every single person that has offered to help make music actually make the style of music i'd need for the game!

(+1)

Nah that's cool! And a welcome approach - just voicing concerns and you ofc don't have to listen. Plus, most innovation spurs from diverting the norm

alr cool!

I can write a wide range of stuff, I'd be willing to work with the other composers, as long as we all come up with a general theme and a few motifs to share between the songs, I think it'll be fine. Could be a cool project

Also @f3ralcat would you want to work on some stuff outside of this? message me on soundcloud or give me a discord. I'm thinking something like "blastoff" by trioscapes

Hey! I'm taking time for composition mostly weekends and some weekday evenings but I'll hit you up on Discord! I'd love to collaborate
