yeh, i have the same problem! I play in the joiplay (T_T) and I simple can't find where to save! please help me 😿.
Hi! We don’t really know how that works, we made the game for mac and pc and that’s all we are able to check and fix. If joiplay doesn’t allow you to click the save/load button, there’s nothing we can do about that I’m afraid.

I JUTS FIX IT !! in the settings I put display on "right" and it worked!! :D
