It Will Find you is one of the scariest games of the year for me! The game’s writing and voice work makes the player feel like they’re part of a real unfolding story of real people with real problems. The game uses subtle techniques to scare the player when characters are feeling their most vulnerable, and has no problem ratcheting up the fear when the player THINKS they’re safe. The game changes as you play; you’re free to make any move that you have a mind to, but one bad decision could be your last.
Events unfold (or don’t) depending entirely on how you play. There are no prompts giving you on-screen choices; you simply play how you want and watch the chips fall. It Will Find You is extremely replay-able, and rewards you for trying different things. I couldn’t recommend this game more. Just play this: You won’t regret it.
