I appreciate having a DM-less design. While I love TTRPGs, it's always hard to test them out in game jams, as they usually require multiple people. You captured a creepy atmosphere very well, but I do feel like including some choice would've been nice. Of course the biggest aspect is how you roleplay it, but I still would've liked a bit more mechanically. Maybe you can attempt a feat of bravery and gamble your moxie points, or something. 

One thing I didn't see in the PDF, unless I'm just blind, is what your starting Moxie and Dead points are?
