Ok. I did get lost. Why the engine change from renpy to....godot? I like godot. (Just....not in vns)

Its a bit of a pity, because itch.io tells me that i bought the game exactly almost 1 year ago. (Should be tomorrow). And i really liked the game that i played back then, to the point of considering giving a hand.
