Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad it was still fun despite the difficulty level.
For the little game over nuisance it can be helpful to know that RPG Maker games have a built in reset button, so if you accidentally hit "new game" you can press F12 or Alt+F12 to reset back to the title screen.
