I haven't played through the full game yet, but I feel like there's time-travel involved (But hey, that's just a theory)

there are so many times the Minecraft was compared to someone else who is older, such as the ex-husband of an old woman when the MC was a kid

(man, the flashbacks make me cry, and I haven't shed a tear for a few years or so)

Also, PLEASE make an option to see the name of the music, there's this specific song after telling Naomi about the MC an aide on her couch, and I love it. (I found it tho, it's Sultan's Swing by IBY and Ty Simon, I found it with Shazam)
