There is definitely some romance, it's just not the main focus of the story. The story revolves around 5 childhood friends that all have very complicated relationships with each other, some of which are romantically inclined (and there are scenes with kissing). Also, while there is nothing NSFW in the game, there are strong sexual themes and a few scenes that are quite sexual in nature though they do not go all the way (also content warning there are some scenes with sexual assault, just as a warning). There's quite a long list of content warnings so just want to make sure you don't end up playing it and you feel very uncomfortable.
