Why would you dream about that..? There is not a single moment that you could base an assumption that they could ever be nonviolent towards the MC and Koshiro, they are never anything less than a threat and a risk?

honestly I find Hyosuke to be personally very interesting. There’s a lot of possibility in the character to have a lot more depth and understanding while keeping with his basic character if written properly.
(And honestly, I still found him more bearable than Ramos 😅😅)

Sure, he might be interesting, but there's absolutely nothing about him that would make for a healthy relationship. Most people might be more bearable than Ramos, but if you think Hyosuke is somehow better just like... reread any of the scenes he's in? Especially the one in the abandoned village.
