So I tried the game again and it seems it does eventually load. The game looks almost exactly as I was hoping it did from the thumbnail. It's got that misty/foggy ambience and that's pretty cool. The mountains in the distance look gorgeous, however, unfortunately the game is severely unoptimized and is probably rendering every last triangle from those mountains because despite a beefy pc, the game lags.
The gameplay is nice with a simple highscore-based gameplay loop, the animations seem fluid, and both the enemy and player models are cool. Could've really used a lock-on system for combat.
