I mostly mean that Daniel is also suffering from this disease, but because he has not smelled the flowers like Amanda, it is spreading to his body more slowly. So, during the war with the wolves, he loses consciousness for several hours, and Daniel himself does not know how he got to the stable. After that, when he kills Amanda, he enters into his violent state because he could not harm Amanda before that because there was true love between the two of them. And after killing Amanda, in order to suppress the disease there and prevent other lovers from getting this disease, he goes and collects all the flowers and burns the house, himself and Amanda together.
