pretty sure you put the assets folder that is seen inside of the jar file, not the entire god damn minecraft folder
also some versions wont work, for example, 1.21

im using 1.21 and its working numb nuts. even before the update it worked. maybe you did it wrong?
im stupid, i did it manually instead of using the extractor :p
