Hey there folks, itch.io user exedexes1 here

https://exedexes1.itch.io/

I have been creating electronica and other mixed genre stuff (with a lot of jazz influence) on Soundcloud since January 24, 2023 with the aid of a Roland FA-08 synthesizer (and later, Mixcraft 9 and now 10.5 Pro Studio).  As of this date there are 320 pieces of music to check out, some now since #257 with Vocals (including five cover songs).  In May 2023 I moved to Distrokid in order to be able to spit out my music to the other platforms such as Spotify, Amazon, Apple etc.

My one year of piano lessons was 1985-86 and then some involvement with high school choir and jazz choir, then a stint ten years later in 1998-1999 at Seattle University's choir.  During 2002 and up to about 2013 I had an Emu XK-6 Xtreme Keys but was always hampered by the fact that I didn't have a DAW or an inbuilt sequencer right in the keyboard (which at the time only the very high end workstations had that...too rich for my blood!).

And then now, I have both.  Being able to save in the sequencer rapidly enabled me to teach -myself-....the rest of advanced piano by the bootstraps in my own kind of renegade style.

My main website is:

And my bandcamp is:

Over the 18 months since starting soundcloud i am now up to around 1,050 SC followers and 250 spotify follows.  Streaming is earning me enough to get a coffee or two at the end of each month :) (in exchange for spending i'm sure twenty times that in repost exchange packs etc, lol)

My thought is to slowly branch into helping individual folks with sound assets on itch.io and maybe later doing some programming

I am also capable of programming, having over the decades every five years or so abortively gotten my skills up to the equivalent of finishing one of those 'teach yourself in 21 days' books by Sams back in the day.  I am hoping on a gradual footing to also program for folks and I find the friendliness of what I saw in the OST Composing Jam #7 in the last few days on Lone Rabbit's discord server, to be encouraging in this way.
