Are there any enemy defeat scenes? And is there a way to surrender?
Uh... yes. And not specifically 'surrender' but plenty of ways to give up in combat and let enemies have fun with you.
No offence but did you actually try the game before asking these questions? These things are PRETTY apparent within a few minutes of starting.
