So I've checked this out again and there should be an option to "check in with Chet" right in your daily options after work after Yuna reached stage 3 ("you're basically more tit than woman"). If there isn't, you'll probably need to progess the other parts of the story, meaning going on a run in the park and having dinner with Beth and her brothers.
If that doesn't work, I dunno. :(
