what to say… tiles, saws, lights, lava, wind, water look amazing

tons of veeeeery precise polish about when to do screen shake and when to add extra vfx

all the mechanics are extremely obvious (i mean that as a compliment). I know the wind will carry me very clearly before i touch it, I know the water will chill, etc… because it is very well communicated through your design

the game feels much more like a joy ride than a hard platforming challenge, maybe you were going more for that feeling?

if I could describe 2 types of feelings:

  • A) “wow this looks cool”
  • B) “wow this is rewarding that I made it through that section”

your game felt like 90% A, 10% B. this is not a positive nor a negative, it’s purely a design choice - i’m just leaving it here to see if that’s what you intended.

sadly the web build has no timer, but I did finish it with I think was just 2 deaths

as a fellow platformer i’d love to hear your thoughts on mine too

I like to make games pale so I usually end up making short and pretty games. We all have our style :)

definitely nothing wrong with that : )
