ppl on there lose it every time someone mentions relationship with male character lol. To answer you there is no way to do so and seems like M/F relationship wont progress much in near future, it was sort of abandoned in favor of F/F relationships

As for F/F, this is generally determined by the plot. Take a closer look at the game world. This is a medieval town, torn apart by wars - either with the Demon King or with monsters. Mostly women remain in the city. They are gradually replacing men almost everywhere. Including in terms of romance. There is a lot of fan service in the game, but many moments are logical.
Edgar is (was) already listed as one of characters you could have build relationship with. He and Celica had meaningful moment at the ball. Celica also lost her loved ones. Also, its just game.
The F/F is mostly determined by patreons thanks to whom we’ll probably be stuck in constant loop of animations where Celica is getting her boobs fondled or her V fingered by “dominant” female for nth time
Relationships often mean friendship and camaraderie. For example, Bert is also on the list of characters with relationships. But he might rather love Celica or Evie like a daughter. Bert does not want and does not think about having sex with Celica :-)
As for relationships with men... This is still a difficult topic in this game.
