EDIT: thanks to new hints i finally reached it. I love him, before getting third ending i was worried he doesn't have an end where we will be happy but fortunately my baby got his chance!

I focused on the balance between funny and bitter, so I'm glad to hear that.

Those designs reflect the preferences of each character, actually.

As for the hidden route, to add to the hints in the description section, you have to go to the place where ??? is in the first and fifth weeks.
Any choice during the conversation is fine. Only the location is important.
