This is definitely a 5 star and I got a lot to say about it.

Firstly the art and sound are amazing and great, the part I enjoyed the most was the scene switch as it helped separate it in three parts, and everything felt cohesive and the soundtrack was fun.

The spin on the theme is unique and one of the best approaches to it, although its not really felt there is some cool effect of, getting more cans makes it harder as you need to get back on in time.

Gameplay wise It started surprisingly hard, but it was fun to learn and slowly get better creating a fun difficulty curve.  There are a lot of close calls and pixel jumps which creates mini tension which is great. Im not to sure but it feels like you can do this with skipping a few canisters which is a nice mechanic as you choose your battles.

However there are a few cons, firstly the wind turbines and tires for me suck, there just painfully inconsistent, this made me literally avoid them because it felt like it didn't even work, because i would not even bounce the correct height making me reset the entire thing because i couldn't get back on. However in the second level theres so many so it became very fustrating. I spent a lot of time (maybe 30 mins) and at first it was fun but I feel like this game is just about too difficult as it stopped being fun and frustrating nearer to the end of the playthrough. It pains me to say i didn't finish the game because i really wanted to but when my baloon died at the pink sky after 30 mins i wanted to play other games. Although all this could be a skill issue as there are actual scores. and its not really the games fault and rather its the jam format that makes me want to leave to play other games. Two smaller issues is that for me resetting isn't clear and I had to go to the page to find out how to do it because overwise I'd close the game and re-open. Also that some art elements like wires  and stop signs for me felt like they should be background rather than collidable foreground (although the player learns quickly anyway).

Overall my main thought was that this game is one of the best games I played in this jam, and very good but wanted to voice my complains on a few things, I think this would be very fun as a standalone game and some of my fustration is just from it being a jam game that is too long i think for most to complete when theres a lot to do (although making games just for jams aren't always the point).

maybe not though and maybe im deluded, anyway great job im sorry if this yap is a lil unreadable

Thank you for playing! I completely get where you’re coming from with all of your points. It isn’t explained at all in the game, but the thing that made tires and wind feel inconsistent to you was that the amount of height you get from them changes depending on if you’re holding jump or not. By holding it after bouncing/leaving wind, you get way more height than if you let go. Again, thanks for playing and taking to time to write that

yh, i was sometimes, sometimes not, but nice to know. idk why i woke up so passionate

No worries lol, I appreciate the feedback
