I really appreciate your thoughts and feedback! I definitely was aware when compositing FLOW that I was using a very “loved” (aka sometimes overused) chord progression which certainly had the potential to make it sound like other songs. I was feeling some creative block before starting that track and so I pulled from what I knew. I’m actually not familiar with Nightwish or Onimusha, but I will certainly be checking them out!
