I've had no reports of saves being broken while using the IN GAME save transfer system for Chapters 2 ==> Three regardless of platform. Just answer the memory prompts. Or ask for help in the discord.
Saves from chapter three to four are bugged and for that there's an unofficial fix for android builds in the discord. + There is no official android build for Chapter Four yet.
