v0.05: Nah I understand you. I'm just excited what's mentioned will become a reality and happen sooner or later. The wait will definitely be worth it. I mean hell your updates are actually very meaty. I've seen games that could take several months with a sliver of content and here you are doing quality color CGs with multiple story routes plus you've got a plan set out and everything. Your ethic and approach to development is something I highly admire.

Yeah with multiple partners something like that would definitely upset some folks and I have no doubt about that. I actually did want to ask this question since the start on the forums because the in-series character doesn't necessarily strike me as somebody would be against it but had that gut feeling it would also come off the wrong way. I should say for the record though that whatever direction you go with her I'm all in.

I appreciate it man! I'm glad the updates seems more meaningful, especially since I know what you are talking about. I don't think a lot of people like to wait months on end just to get five minutes of gameplay...

I agree with you completely. Lois generally seems to be ripe for that type of material, since it goes hand in hand with her character development within the show. I guess this puts my limitations more into light, as I want to keep the story as focused as possible. I know going down the route where she is promiscuous would make it hard for me to stick the landing for the story. Maybe that's where the sandbox style of gameplay would make a better set up? I know the other dev making Lucky Guy could definitely go down that route if they wanted to, haha...

There are some benefits to doing a sandbox style game and having the characters go down different paths on the side is definitely one of them. I admit it's a lot of fun to say have one lady go completely naked by player choice and then appear naked in other story routes and so forth.

That said, I also feel it causes laziness with devs if you can develop one popular thing and then leave other aspects and elements untouched. You could introduce one character and tease them for several updates and if somebody else is more popular with the players that character will feel so uneven development wise.

And the other thing with a sandbox is how grindy it can be. A lot of them feature day-night cycles, some events only happening during the day and on a certain day of the week, so you might just tab through every day trying to unlock those scenes, plus it's easy to overlook things this way.

I love the semi-linear approach with routes. At least this way every character can develop on pace with the story so it doesn't feel incoherent. I think if it ever came down to it you can always do secret paths and things like that.

Also tbh I mentioned this before but it's just so nice when you can enjoy story porn without running through hurdles haha. I still remember v0.02, I was enjoying drunk Peter shenanigans and when Lois calls you up, and the shock you get when Lois is riding her fat meat dildo. I basically pretty much knew to expect something really raunchy but that reveal blew my mind, and when you have an entire game where you can expect stuff like this just from natural progression it's just far more enjoyable.
