eh, this stuff happens, crappy situations like that where things go wrong and a wrench is thrown in the plans can make everything difficult. I empathize with both you and with the upset people, who pay every month hoping for a lil something from time to time for their money, that's always kinda the issue with these patreon games, and why i imagine so many end up abandoned, if i were you i'd just add the option to pay a larger, yet one time fee to have full access to the game, like you were pre ordering it or something, and then just release the new updates for the people who payed that price, patrons would be using patreon to access extra art, behind the scenes looks at the developement, polls on stuff getting added and probably sneak peeks too. but people purely interested in the game and nothing else would then have an avenue through which they can support and they'd be willing to wait since it's one and done, rather than waiting multiple months, whilst paying each month, for a singular update. just my two cents, I'm by no means an expert but maybe this idea could help you, all that aside hope things go well for you, don't forget to take decent care of yourself too.
