I'm currently stuck on the plate puzzle after you beat the alurne succubus, the one where you step in a plate and sends you to another one surrounded by 4 arrows pointing at it

There is an order to walk to open the way:

step on the plates from closest to the middle to furthest to continue :)

That's what I am doing, or believe I am doing and the last plate I'm pressing always plays the bell sound

Look at the golden plaques,
walking from the closest one, to the farthest.
