I don't understand how to defend myself against Freddy i am stuck on night 3 because of that i hear footsteps but she doesn't show up on any side of the door when i use Fleshlight

She sneaks into your room. You need to close the right door, when you see her on the kitchen cam. She laughs when moving. I'm pretty sure she laughs 5 times before arriving there. Once you hear her laugh again. It's meant she moved away so you can safely open the door.

If she's in the kitchen, and you look at a camera other than kitchen, she'll enter your office. She won't show up at the door.

You can look at the cameras when she's in the kitchen, but only the kitchen camera. If you check on Foxy or anywhere else, you die.

Basically, the best way that I've found handling her is like this:

If Fred is in kitchen (Bottom right corner, messily drinking... something) then close the rightmost door until you hear laughter. Laughter indicates that she's moved. After that, you're all good.
