Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately I had no time to normal play test due to game jam time limitation. Did you try desktop version?
It does not crash in the desktop version! But I still never got larger despite making a pretty good halo of apples. One more critique (sorry), but it's a little bit annoying that your vision gets blocked when the camera goes through a tree.
