I totally get not wanting to be misgendered but the novel clearly advertised itself as gay romance, tho the novel comes with a default name for the MC if you don't want to type in your own, when it asks you your name you just don't type anything and press enter.

It's a m/m romance. You can play the role, or miss the chance, your choice...

I'm a woman and I loved this VN. Just either insert a faceless, male OC and read it from the third person or just mentally swap out the pronouns as you read along, get past the seggs scenes and headcannon whatever you need to in your head as you read if you wanna do it in first person.
