I appreciate you taking the time to make a longer review so I will make a longer response, it was tough to make all three phases but a trick I used was subtlety reducing assets for example most projectile in the game are the exact same object just with different speeds sprites and amounts, and a good amount of sprites are used in multiple phases like monkeys explosion fire and even parts the boss itself (for the first two phases)
