Well this was a little slice of delight to come across! I ended up playing through it a couple chapters at a time because of having to make time for other stuff, but in all the downtime in between I was thinking about this a whole lot - the characters, the story, the whole underlying theme, the works - and anything that lives rent-free in your head like that obviously left an impact!
Really enjoyed the story, and the dynamics between the characters were great - nothing felt forced or contrived, everything was set out in a way that made their perspectives understandable even if I disagreed with them, and their relationships as a whole genuinely felt like there was a shared history between them. Aster revealing Cyrus' thoughts at the end was heartbreaking, and put such a solid and satisfying twist into the narrative.
In short: loved it!
