Reading this comment really made us laugh, because you are so right! Our pixel artist took artistic inspiration from the Wario sprites because of the similar animations (jumping, shoulder bash, etc.).
We'd like to point out that this was only an inspiration, not a copy, but the style of the game (black and white + pixel art) certainly helps to evoke the essence of Wario even more ahah.
