I couldn't help but notice that some characters in your text fields appear as ?, when it's supposed to be é for example. I have also had this issue while trying to write stuff in French in Decker... I made a custom version of Decker's default font to include diacritics commonly used in French by replacing some less used characters. It looks like this (left is Decker's default font, right is my custom version)
(I tried to match them with the characters on a french keyboard btw, like ~ is ctrl+alt+é on a french keyboard, so it makes sense to the eye...)
I can share the font if that's something you (or other people) are interested in! I also want to extend those modifications to the 3 Olympiad fonts in the future but don't ask when cuz I don't know
